The newest addition to McAdenville's Christmas Lights
is the J. M. Carstarphen Bridge which spans
the South Fork River in the heart of Christmas Town.
Unfortunately, the bridge is not on the main route of Christmas traffic.
Due to Traffic Control and the thousands of vehicles coming
through town, cars will NOT be allowed to cross the bridge.
However, if you choose to park and
walk through town, you can walk
to the bridge and even walk across to view the beautiful decorations.
Those coming from I-85, at the traffic light in downtown,
can see the bridge to your left.
If you are traveling from US 29-74, you will be able to view the bridge
looking across the lake, and again at the traffic light just beyond the lake,
the bridge will be to your right.
