McAdenville is going
through a re-development phase in one section of our town,
the Christmas Lights will continue this year as they have since 1956.
For those who have visited McAdenville in the past.......
This year 2007, you
will see many NEW homes in the re-development area.
Once the project is complete approximately 190 new homes will make McAdenville
glow even more brightly.
If you enter
McAdenville from Interstate 85 for your
Christmas Town tour, once you reach the lake in the
center of town, the re-development
area will be from this point to the McAdenville Elementary School.
If you enter McAdenville from U.S. 29-74, the re-development
area will be from the McAdenville Elementary School to the lake.
Regardless of how you
enter McAdenville,
you will still enjoy over 400 evergreens with more then
450,000 RED, WHITE AND GREEN lights
As always, the residents of McAdenville
look forward to your visit.
The official lighting
ceremony will take place on
November 30 starting at 4:00 p.m. in the
front yard of the McAdenville Community Center.
This exciting event is open to the public
and is heavily covered by the local news media.
The schedule for this
year will be the same as in past years...
November 30 - December 26
Monday - Friday 5:30 - 9:30 p. m.
Saturday and Sunday 5:30 - 11:00 p. m.
